This coffee reflects Lot 20’s founding principle of sourcing from Bomet. Despite historical quality challenges in washed coffees, coffee growing is experiencing a resurgence. This AB lot is the result of Lot 20’s outreach program, where they trained home pulpers in Bomet. The AB represents the best accumulation of coffees processed during this trial. As they invest in a permanent processing facility in East Bomet, Lot 20 aim to increase their volumes from the region.

Lot 20 Coffee was founded by Sidney Kibet in 2019, who moved back to his home of Kericho, Kenya after living in Rwanda and running a coffee export business. Kibet founded Lot 20 with the initial goal of exporting 20 lots of coffee from farmers in Bomet and Kericho counties.
