I have finally got around to finishing off the final part to our florida trip. This one will be in less detail than the others, due to the holiday feeling like a distant memory!
So while the Wizards were away in Florida, this muggle (Matty) took off eastwards to Vietnam.
My first stop was one of Ho Chi Minh's most famous markets, the Ben Thanh market. This place is utter madness, with locals and tourists alike finding whatever they need under one roof. What caught my eye straight away was the amount of coffee for sale, at least at every second stall.
If you have visited Bean in Dingle you will know that music is a big part of how we create the atmosphere in the shop. We handpick all the collections of songs we play and have created a number of playlists on Spotify. You can access our spotify playlists through the link.
Here's a short list of some of our favourite songs from our most played playlists:
Sorry for the delay in posting this, I know most of you have been itching to find out what we got up to on the next stage of our trip. This post will be shorter I promise. There also won't be any mention of Disney or Harry Potter (Unfortunately).
I'll cover some of the highlights from our couple of days in Fort Lauderdale, and our three nights in Miami. Enjoy.
Some of you might not know that it wasn't my intention to give up my IT career in Dublin to run Bean with Justin. It wasn't until Bean really took off did I know that a decision had to be made. Luckily for me it wasn't a hard one. Although I was happy with my job and relatively happy in Dublin I was more than ready to move back to Dingle. I know some of my friends and colleagues thought I'd lost my marbles, giving up a well paid career in the country's capital to run a small coffee shop in a small town, I can kind of see why they would think that. What i don't think they knew is how much Dingle has to offer.
So I have decided "we" will attempt to start blogging a small bit ,when we get the chance. Apologies in advance for the bad grammar and terrible attempt at humour!
The first few blogs will cover our trip to Florida in January, which has gathered much interest around Dingle town. So from now on if anyone asks 'How was the Holiday?', I will point them in the direction of this blog :)
